US to Deploy Armed Predator Drones in Libya

Link to article

"Asked why the United States did not want to increase its role in Libya, Gates noted the U.S. military was already stretched thin, with 100,000 troops in Afghanistan, 50,000 troops in Iraq and 18,000 sailors on 19 ships assisting Japan after its devastating earthquake and tsunami last month."

These predator drones are turning war into a video game as they are operated from thousands of miles away from their actual position.  First - a "no fly zone" where tanks and government buildings were bombed.  Now - remote controlled drones locking in on specific ground targets.  Someone please tell me how this is not an escalation of our role in Libya.
