Is it a prerequisite for our politicians to be stupid? The John Wayne comment is just funny. Great timing there, Ms. Bachmann! (or is that Palin?)
However, as a history teacher & especially as an American I am deeply offended that someone running for the most prestigious position in our country does not know that the Battles of Lexington & Concord happened in Massachusetts! That should disqualify her from running for president. If only Americans were smart...
