Police Oust Occupy Wall Street Protesters at Zuccotti Park

You can have your 1st Amendment rights...as long as you don't try to use them!

The NYPD moved in at 1:30 AM after they reportedly shut down the subways going downtown (presumably to eliminate the threat of "reinforcements"), removed all sympathetic press, & closed the airspace above Zuccotti Park to media helicopters. One NY Council member was beaten by the police to the point that his head was bleeding. About 70 protesters were arrested for refusing to leave the park.

Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly & Mayor Bloomberg are cowards for ordering their stormtroopers to move in on the camp in the middle of the night when they knew the crowd would be smallest.
