Holder: Obama Will Issue Signing Statement with NDAA Detention Rules

Notice how Holder does not specify what has gone from "unacceptable" to changed in a "substantial way"?  That's because Holder and the rest of the administration do not want the public to be aware that it is not the indefinite detention of American citizens aspect of the NDAA that the president objected to.  It was the fact that this administration felt that there was too much congressional oversight that would limit the executive's power to detain without trial or even KILL Americans they suspected as terrorists.  At least that's the argument the Peace President's lawyers made while the bill was still being debated.

And then there's the matter of signing statements...
