I hope this is a PR comment in light of the hearings and all the controversy around this event and not a truthful statement. If the Marines are teaching the slaughtering of unarmed civilians then we are in a lot of trouble.
"Support the troops" should not be a rallying cry to stand lockstep behind the executive every time an unjust war is waged and it certainly should not be used to obfuscate war crimes like this. Three months for leading the slaughter of 24 civilians?!? That is insane.
