I was there that day. I spoke to people who were on the walkway watching the whole thing or received texts/tweets from their friends on the roadway. Over and over again, they told me that the NYPD officers in the front of the march led them straight on to the roadway of the bridge...and there's video evidence of this on YouTube. I think they have a good case.
