The Maine GOP is saying that Washington County doesn't matter because Ron Paul could not make up the 194 vote difference to change the results. Only about 130 Republicans came out in 2008 (Ron Paul's only win by the way).
But what they won't say is that there are 6000 registered Republicans and 8000 other Washington County residents who are independent and eligible to vote in the caucuses. That's 14,000 potential votes...and a 194 vote lead for Romney without Washington.
