Al Qaeda Bomb Plot Against US-Bound Jet Reportedly Foiled

Link to article

Two key passages...

"The would-be suicide bomber, based in Yemen, had not yet picked a target or bought his plane tickets when the CIA stepped in and seized the bomb, officials said. It's not immediately clear what happened to the alleged bomber."

No name, no target...was there even a bomb?  This is terrible journalism.

"It's not clear who built the bomb, but, because of its sophistication and its similarity to the Christmas bomb, authorities suspected it was the work of master bomb maker Ibrahim Hassan al-Asiri."

The "Underwear Bomber" official narrative is suspect given the fact that Muttalab somehow got on that flight to Detroit without a passport and with a "sharp dressed man" pressuring airline employees to let him on the plane, according to a witness.  So if the "underwear bomb" was used as a basis for this new bomb, you better believe this was NOT the work of al Qaeda...unless al Qaeda is working for a government.
