VOTE THIRD PARTY!

As I was discussing with a friend on Saturday, there is enough animosity on both sides of the political spectrum that, if everyone just stuck to their moral compass, no one would be throwing their vote away!

On the left is the politically uninterested Occupy crowd and other jaded liberals who feel the democratic leadership and especially Obama have completely failed them.  On the right we have libertarians and "paleocons" who believe the republican leadership as well as Bush/Cheney have failed them.  Romney was a nonstarter for most of these people and now with Paul Ryan, a neocon, it seems as if Romney could be alienating this segment of the population even more.  And there are people on both sides of the aisle that will refuse to vote either because either a) Romney does not represent "true" conservatism given that he was a centrist/liberal governor or b) Obama has morphed into the "new and improved!" Bush 2.0 doing everything he can to eviscerate civil liberties and quietly continue to the systematic slaughter of Arabs, central Asians, and Africans (in contrast to Bush's loud, "yee-haw" style of slaughter).

For the first time in a very long time, we have a chance on both the left and the right to push alternative choices to the two-party dictatorship.
