Con Ed Power Outage Leaves Lower Manhattan Dark

Link to article

"Consolidated Edison Inc. officials said the utility is first focusing on repairing feeders distributing power to the New York Stock Exchange and then restoring power to networks at the southern tip of Lower Manhattan."

I didn't want to have to get all political with the hurricane, but seriously Con Ed?  Countless families do not have power (including a lot of my family and friends).  They're struggling to preserve all their food and keep warm, but your focus is to get the Stock Exchange up first?!?  Jackasses.

Too bad the rumor of the NYSE being under 3 feet of water was false!
