Dirty Bomb Blows Liberty

Link to article

"Here's how terrorism really works: Slaughter people on national TV, and watch a nation that prides itself on freedom as it shackles itself.

The feds at airports start patting privates and taking pictures with cameras that can see through clothes. Security cameras go up everywhere. The spooks in Washington set up massive Internet surveillance operations and obtain secret court orders to obtain everyone's phone records. Once it starts, it can't be stopped.

In 2007, candidate Barack Obama railed against the 'false choice between the liberties we cherish and the security we provide. I will provide our intelligence and law-enforcement agencies with the tools they need to track and take out the terrorists without undermining the Constitution and our freedom.'

Last week, the Guardian newspaper reported that the National Security Agency collected phone records on millions of Verizon customers, and the Obama administration defended the move. The Guardian and Washington Post also reported that the NSA has a top-secret operation, dubbed Prism, which taps directly into the servers of nine leading Internet companies. Does President Obama know something that Senator Obama did not? Or did the corrosion of our civil liberties take on a life of its own, independent of any elected leader?

It's as if a terrorist set off a dirty bomb that is slowly spreading tyranny instead of radiation."

FBI Yet Again Foils Their Own Fake Terrorist Plot, This Time Targeting the NY Federal Reserve

Link to article

I'm no lawyer, but convincing someone to commit a crime (to the point of offering a ride to the future crime scene and building a fake bomb!) sounds like entrapment to me!

MEK Off Terror List? Iran Group to be Removed, Says Report

Link to article

The Obama administration is planning to remove the MEK from their terror watch list.  The MEK is a group of militant jihadists who have been conducting sabotage and assassination attempts in Iran for over 30 years.  They're also a group that the Bush administration used as evidence of Hussein's support for international terrorism in the lead up to the invasion of Iraq in 2003.  Once again, Washington shows is blatantly demonstrating its hypocrisy.  If you work with us you're a "freedom fighter" (i.e. MEK).  If you work against us, you're a "terrorist" (i.e. Hamas).  As a side note, al Qaeda fits into both categories.

Was Suicide Bomber...A Former Guantanamo Bay Terror Detainee?

Link to article

My apologies on the source, but there's a few very obvious discrepancies in the propaganda surrounding this story and this article had a picture of point #2 below...

#1 - Mehdi Ghezali, an Algerian-Swedish Islamist, is the suspect behind this attack - although Sweden is denying that the man in the video is him.  If that is true, this guy spent 2 years in Guantanamo Bay.  He was released and no charges were filed against him.  That begs the question - did "we" create a terrorist with "our" policy of brutal torture?  Also, if this is true, how do Israeli officials link him with Hezbollah and Iran?

#2 - More importantly, the fake Michigan driver's license has a Baton Rouge, Louisiana address on it.  Now, I know we think lowly of these boogeymen terrorists that are out there, but are they THAT stupid to create a fake license with an address that makes absolutely no sense or was this planted as an obvious fake?

My comments are not intended to make light of this truly tragic event.  However, my first instinct is to question "official" statements made by all governments throughout the world and it is important for We the People to understand world events so that we can make informed decisions (not like we have any say in "our" governments anymore...).

Love Liberty? You Might Be a Terrorist

Link to article

Do you believe in "conspiracy theories?"  Do you think that the rights of women or homosexuals are being threatened?  Do you believe that globalism has destroyed our economy or that our federal government is corrupt?  You are a right-wing extremist!

Happy 4th of July, everyone!

Plane Diverts After Passenger Announces She Has Surgically Implanted Device

Link to article

No name?  Will there be an arraignment date?  Why did she hand a note to an attendant rather than just blow herself up?  It'll be interesting to see where this story goes because right now I do not believe it.

UPDATE: No Charges for Passenger Who Caused Jet Diversion
