This is what's wrong with America.

"Republicans and Democrats have had very different views of the two operations. Today, only about half of Republicans (52%) say it is acceptable for the NSA to obtain court orders to track phone call records of millions of Americans to investigate terrorism. In January 2006, fully 75% of Republicans said it was acceptable for the NSA to investigate suspected terrorists by listening in on phone calls and reading emails without court approval.

Democrats now view the NSA’s phone surveillance as acceptable by 64% to 34%. In January 2006, by a similar margin (61% to 36%), Democrats said it was unacceptable for the NSA to scrutinize phone calls and emails of suspected terrorists."

Privacy is privacy. The Fourth Amendment is the Fourth Amendment. This is not an issue that is determined by the letter after a politician's name!

The Obama administration is planning to remove the MEK from their terror watch list.  The MEK is a group of militant jihadists who have been conducting sabotage and assassination attempts in Iran for over 30 years.  They're also a group that the Bush administration used as evidence of Hussein's support for international terrorism in the lead up to the invasion of Iraq in 2003.  Once again, Washington shows is blatantly demonstrating its hypocrisy.  If you work with us you're a "freedom fighter" (i.e. MEK).  If you work against us, you're a "terrorist" (i.e. Hamas).  As a side note, al Qaeda fits into both categories.

According to this article 0 arrests have been made so far.  Football fans in NYC are celebrating tonight with chants of "f--- the police," glass bottles used as projectiles, and toilet paper and garbage strewn all over the streets.  According to Tim Pool only one arrest has been made in New York so far.
